Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Foreman (Electrical) -> Matriculation with recognized Diploma in Electrical Engineering (03 years course). Electrical Supervisorship Certificate valid for mines.
E.P.Electrician (Excavation)/Technician in Grade D -> Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade with Statutory Certificate as per I.E. Rules. Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961.
Electrician (Non-Excavation) / Technician in Category-IV (Daily Rated) -> Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade. Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act - 1961.
E.P.Electrician (Excavation)/Technician in Grade D -> Matriculation with ITI in Electrician Trade with Statutory Certificate as per I.E. Rules. Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961.

Age Limit (as on 27/09/2014): Minimum 18 Years, 35 years for SC&ST candidates; 33 years for OBC candidates (Non Creamy Layer).
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.100/- only by demand draft from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Central Coalfields Limited” payable at Ranchi. Name of the candidate and post applied for should be written on the back side of the demand draft. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection process: Written Test and interview.
