Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandants Examination , 2013

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a written Exam on 20/10/2013 for Recruitment of 424 posts [BSF-110, CRPF-138, CISF-56, ITBP-120] of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP.

Eligibility Criteria: (i) Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st August, 2013. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice. (ii) Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of any Recognised university or
an equivalent qualification. (iii) Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.(iv) Both Male & Female candidates are eligible for Appointment to BSF, CRPF and CISF. However, only Male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.
